To the north of Bahrain are some reclaimed islands which we went to explore very early one morning.
It was a very humid morning in mid-summer where the temperature at dawn is usually around 35 degrees Centigrade.
The heat and humidity had sapped the air of all its strength and the morning was very peaceful and calm.
As we drove across to the islands, I happened to see the effect all this was having on the view over towards the tower blocks of Seef, an area just to the west of Manama, Bahrain's capital.
While I may tweak colours a little in post-production for some shots, I didn't have to in this instance. The light was perfect.
