I've always loved photography and very much regret that I didn't follow through on my love of it as a teenager. This site is way of coming to terms with that regret and making the most of the time I have left.
My photography has two main influences. Firstly, I studied architecture as an undergraduate. Although I hated the intense competitive pressure of the course, it taught me to see light and form in ways that most people do not.
Secondly, since I first left my native UK at the age of five, I've visited nearly 80 countries. This constant introduction to places I've never seen has given me the ability to grasp the essential elements of a location quickly.
My current location is the island nation of Bahrain in the Arabian Gulf which I've been seeing with new eyes since 2013.
